    Nice job. I'm glad the recovery went well. I love lond distance recoveries but don't think I'll be making anymore as I have enough toys to keep me busy for a long time and the long recoveries were always in deuces. Nice truck-ENJOY CT:beer:

    My deuces and 1009's are insured with State Farm. Had to explain that they are retired gov vehicles so they can add the vin # to their system.     I would definately change the fuel filter and also check the fuel pump and make sure it is starting to leak. You might want to check the metal lines on top of the fuel tank as they are known to rust and develop pin holes and draw air into the system

    I own a few of each and don't really have a favorite. The cucvs if ever needed towing want cost hundreds of dollars and I can get the 1009's through the Taco Bell drive thru late at nite :beer:
