Well, they didn't have THE tool but a upholstery puller tool worked well... It looks like a weed puller.
I got the first one in after finding that there was that lock in rubber strip. After I took that out it all went together... and my vocab didn't grow because my kids were "helping" me...
ok This has been a great and quick help.. Thanks to all.... Now one last thing... that rubber piece that holds it all in.. Did you say there was a tool? Is there a way by hand? Or should I just go get the tool?

Anyone have any tricks for removing the rear side windows and NOT destroying the rubber or the glass?

OK, so it doesn't have a trans cooler in it with the radiator... I was looking at the oil lines.
So where do you tap into the tranny for an aux cooler and will that solve the overheating issue?

Is the M1009 set up for long distance towing?
I want to be able to tow long distance with my M1009. The vehicle only has 30K on it.
What can/should I do to tranny to insure it is functioning properly and is strong enough to tow.
I seem to be using 4WD more and in trying to understand my 4WD system I have a few questions...
1. Is the front axle on a M1009 a limited slip, locker or open diff?
2. If the hubs are locked can I drive in 2WD just as if the hubs were unlocked? Will anything bind?
