All that I know of are plain burgandy. Jc Whitney or LMC are the most well known suppliers. If you have the backqround redoing it yourself is the way to go. I was quoted 375 to 450 by those in the biz I talked to. So you might want to consider high quality seat covers.
At the front of the motor next to ilde adjustment there is a rubber female fitting with tow plugs placed vertically. At least for sure there is one vacuum line that plugs in not sure what the other line does but i assume i leads to the transmission due to length of line and the problems i am...
Changed oil today overfilled funnel oil spilled onto passenger side ALT. after cleaning up what i could i had to move the truck. now the gen light stays for a good 45 seconds where as before it would go out only a second or two after started. any suggestions.. on a side note what...
That is what i thought in respects to the alts. The starter i know is not ISO grnd I was just thinking that about a way to connect a 12v starter with the current electical with only few mods. This is a thought not a plan
Both are ISO grnd? Been told only passenger side is. If this is so then the passendger side can only be ISO grnd if replaced. Can a ISO grnd be used for the driver side? As for a starter could a 12v starter be used with the current electrical system by installing disconnects in the battery...
What are the parts for these CUCV's that are getting the hardest to find. I just got my 1028 a month ago and I want to go ahead and stock up on parts especially the hard to find ones.
i looked all i could at the manuals until i get them printed off its kinda tuff on the laptop with one tire on the ground and one jacked up how free should it spin
How free should the front wheels spin on the front axle with one side jacked up. I just put newer tires on my 1028 the front hubs seemed to be tight. they didnt spin as free as i thought they should. this is my first 4 wheel drive so i am not sure how these axles are supposed to behave.
