ACTUALLY! i origionally invented this for my project bobber. However, it lacked the strength to start my deuce. So i tried it on my m1031 and voala, perfection. i am working on an industrial size version that should be on the market shortly for the M35 series diesels.
That is an out and out lie. Your viberator design used a v twin harley motor with a kickstart. this is clearly a pullstart design. i would have had a **** of a time mounting the v-twin to the fender of the truck. Your other inventions are safe as i don't even own a goat.
yep.....I did, and like all good inventors. I stole it and called it my own design. It had to be part of some secret squirrel government project to go green by making the soldiers pull start their vehicles in combat. QUIET technology and all that. Very Very secret squirrel, black op stuff. SSHHHH...
i believe I have one of the little screws on the filter base that I pulled off my truck. If you don't find one, pm me and I will send it your way. Not worth anything to me and if you can use it it's yours.
For future reference this is permenantly mounted to my truck. I will demonstrate it's use at the various rallies I plan to attend this spring and summer. we can discuss any mass quantity purchases at that time.
Matt.....do not go around giving up my dang trade secrets. i have told you about this once, you wanna get your butt spanked and a time out? I thought not.......
Have you gotten in your CUCV on a cold morning and realized your batteries were too low to start the truck? Or dead completely? Well, we here at ACME parts have developed a part that even the most discerning person can appreciate. It is in the research and development phase of production, but...
I like that hummer slant back look. However I think it would look better with a short window in the back that could be let down for airflow. thinking around 12 inches or so. i am drawing something up on solidworks right now to plan this out. i will go out and get Dims. from the 1009 that is...
this is more likely a project for the M-5 area of my shop. The area where I cut it to pieces and figure it out, with time to kill I have learned I can accomplish anything. Looks like alot of fiberglass, but doable for sure. Have to figure out the curves and the glass cutouts, but I think the...
ya know......I have a pretty fair amount of experience with fiberglass. I don't think that would be hard to duplicate. i would think that if you sacrificed one top and used it to make a form, them many could be made from it. What would you do about the back window i wonder? Unless you cut...
diy4x.com is also a very good website. He sells about everything that you need tobuild your own custom bumpers. He also sells nice fabricated bumpers and parts.
also remember that if you have a diesel you could start to produce bio diesel. Or you could blend the home brew diesel with pump diesel to reduce the cost of your fuel. These are all very good reasons to have one around. after the initial purchase of equipment biodiesel costs about 1.00 a...
Seems to me that there are alot of CUCV modification threads lately. Would it be prudent to open a new area for this as you guys have done for the deuce and 5 tons? I think it would unclog the CUCV forum for those that are needing CUCV specific information. Just a thought and feel free to...
