First thought was how did you get a jump from someone with a 24v system?? If your needle doesn't move then your probably not getting a charge.. check the bulbs in the gen1 and gen2 dash bezzle I think if they burn out the charge system doesn't work? Get a volt meter and see if the alts are...

That doesn't sound right my heater can get the cab nice and cozy warm!! You most likely have a thermostat stuck open or maybe the heater core is plugged up? Check the heater core return line temp.

how is it gettin in and out? I run 35" tires with no lift and get complaints all the time about how tall it is and how hard it is to get up and in! Maybe I need a set of rock sliders on the side with a tube step might help a little...

beside the obvious "I have a collection of military vehicles" why would you want to keep the 24V system?? My reasoning being if you hook up the glow plugs to the 12v block that only leaves the starter left for 24V. having a 24v system for one starting item isn't justifiable... {spock voice}...

the cucv pickups used the np208 but it has the big 32spline input shaft? the hmmwv's used a np218, very similar to the 208 just a full time t-case....
