thats just a temp sensor, the green wire goes there. You will find another one on the rear of the passenger side head it should have two tabs with green wires, that a switch for the fast idle...... I'm going wheeling monday!!! all trails should be open by now!!!!

If you have a volt meter set it to ohms and put one point on the glow plug spade and one point on the side of the plug "the part the socket goes over" it should read about 1.5 ohms. If you get no reading then its probably dead plug, I wouldn't worry about breaking the connector that attaches to...
