Clint, that's the route I took last year. I left Wednesday at 7am and I met up with Cabell and folks at 5pm @ Henderson. I was going anywhere from 55-60mph.
Looking forward on going up with you and the other folks this coming year. I may not be in ATL at that time (pending a relocation to...
Rizzo, I hope that's a good price! :D
I just got the alternators rebuilt for the CUCV I am selling for $105 from a local rebuilder here. They are working great! Pumping out approx 14.8v each!

RE: Re: RE: trailer box to bed swap?
I think there would still be a good size gap between the front part of the trailer bed and the back of the cab (in the prespective of aligning up the wheelwells). Were you thinking about welding in some filler panels? What trailer, like a M105?

Maybe easiest to locate a m1008 driveshaft .... Thanks Smitty.
Quick question - with the front axle difference between the M1009 and M1008; if a front drive shaft from a m1009 was going to be used on a m1008 - what type of things would need to be done? Or this type of thing isn't doable?
Thanks for any help,

Yeah, I just put in the Wellman 070's from SSDiesel in the CUCV I am selling. Were the truck didn't start at all, now starts in 20F weather after 1 second of cranking (obviously after the Wait light goes out). It's the stock 24v setup ....
HTH,
True - magnets is a definely another way to display your tag temporarily. I got my idea from Blake on the way up to Aberdeen 2006; since I got pulled over by VA police for not displaying my tag - was forced to zip-tie it, dangling below the pintle hitch. The black velcro doesn't bother me...
