The GP controller sits on a separate harness, with it's wires going up to the solenoid (relay). Is that what you need? Or do you need the harness that Mark just described (which is the rest of the wiring) - that the individual GPs connect up to?
Hi Armada, I do have the noise surpressors. It's just not attached to the firewall. If you look at my picture, you can see them barely in the bottom right corner. They're dangling in place. I just need to re-mount them to the fw.
Wow - your engine compartment looks really really good. Very...
I have had good luck with GL over the year. Bought 4 CUCVs from them and pretty much got what I expected (and what I paid for them), mainly because I bought without inspecting. I always keep these in mind with browsing and buying from GL:
Expect to have the 'little' items stripped, like...
Yes, that is the ground strap. If you didn't swap it over, then there is a good chance that it's not grounded. I don't think the remans or new units come grounded, as I think they still use the same cushioning system. Try grounding it and report back.

Hi there,
Take a look at the attached picture. Does that help you? I guess my "red" is on the right.
Maybe if you did have the wires switched, it may have just blown a fuse? Did you check that as well?

Re: RE: Re: RE: Gasser
Yeah, I will cut it - maybe within the next 2 months? I can grind it off bigger, and let you clean it up. I'll PM you. Thanks builder77,

wallew, I think we can work something out. I do have the bumpers and 1 seat that are in excellent condition. I do have 1 "good" wheel/tire combo, and 1 spare rim, along with the Antenna mount. I will PM you the details.
Thanks!

Re: RE: Gasser
Hey builder77,
Parts truck is the doorless one. Grill and gas door should not be a problem, but I am not sure I am willing to remove the whole panel just yet.
Yeah man, thanks for the use of the towbar. However, I think I am just about done with it ... I don't think I can take...
Triplets .... love em'.
So, it was one of those deals you see on GL where you think "God, only that much ?!?!".
I was already bidding on a 'parts' truck so backfill some needed and 'nice-to-have' parts, however came across another beauty. Both at the Montgomery National Guard. I bid on it as...
After cranking it, see if you get diesel coming out of the valve ontop of the Filter housing. Like a steady stream, with/out air, or nothing at all. The latter being I would think 100% of your problem.
If it's cycling through, and you see your voltmeter take a hit during that time, then I say...
RE: Sorry, M1008
Hi, were you thinking about bidding on both?
Questioning on the "Engine no good".... do they mean that it won't turn over (maybe siezed) or that it won't start.
If anything, you maybe able to combine the two together to make one .... like the one without the bed be the parts...
Yeah, pic #5 ... just below the E-Brake handle is the cover to what I believe is the GP Controller ... and if that's been pulled down from it's usual location (up near the Fuse block), then that's been robbed.
However, this truck looks really clean! It has all it's glass, and all the little...
Are you getting this from a GL auction? I have bought a few CUCVs from GL; 1/2 of them had fluids, and the other half was a crappy attempt to drain the fluids. However, before you move it out (drive, flat-tow) you will wanna check oil in the diff's .... (i know, kinda hard). My last CUCV had...
I think that's a pretty fair assestment; will her cell phone be able to take pictures so you can get her to "dig" deeper on certain areas?
Is she willing to climb undeneath and all around the truck? I say that because I don't know too many girls that would be willing to get their hands dirty...
From what years did the Suburban tailgates fit the K5 Blazers? I thought the rear section was wider, plus most, if not all 4x4 suburbans has the split vertical doors while the 4x2s had tailgates.
In search of getting the power motor and regulator, I used JunkYardDog.com and found several...
