Alas we must say goodbye to you Multifuel.

I think I'm going to go with the IH 466 and Fuller Six Speed Gearbox mated to a new locking transfer case. I want about 210-255hp and 560-660ft-lbs of torque with a top engine speed of 2600rpm. I know this means I might want to think about redoing the half-shafts in the axles too. I think I'll...

Add Acetone for better diesel mileage?

Water Injection will increase your fuel mileage too. But just so long as you use it properly not for extra power but for increased inefficiency in combustion by increasing the air-fuel density in the combustion chamber and allowing the engine more effectively burn fuel. Now on the plus side...

Newbie Needs Input On Upcoming Project...

They're not bad for certain conditions but if you look at all the modern military trucks they use new Radials with much better tread patterns to increase traction.

Newbie Needs Input On Upcoming Project...

The original NDT's aren't that great off road really. They just don't provide the grip you need when you need.

Alas we must say goodbye to you Multifuel.

I would like to change out the transfer case as well. I thinking about an older Oshkosh 55000 Model Transfer Case with either the Dorr-Miller Lock Up or the Bevel-Gear and Air-Lock up arrangement. This should handle the torque nicely, after all they use them on the P-Series trucks with engines...

    My M35A2: Number 1

I want to drive my truck on road as well as off road so I think having the ability to turn on and off the lockers is must.

No way... Where in Louisville you want to see the truck?

Alas we must say goodbye to you Multifuel.

The LDT is 1650lbs. Actually the engine is less I thought only 1680lbs so the C series should fit nicely...

    My M35A2: Number 1

Nice set up how big are the tires diameter wise? I thought 14:00's were 49inches in diameter and the 15.5's were like 50inches diameter.

Alas we must say goodbye to you Multifuel.

The 8.3l probably would fit in the compartment, but it probably would need way too much raditor to properly operate that it would be hard to keep cool. And the engine is about 2000lbs so you have to beef up the springs on the front as well.

Why do i need a deuce? Cause their sweet!

The manual says 1400-1600rpm for the LDT and LDS is 1600-1800rpm so since you drive a LDS-465-1 engine in your Truck you shouldn't down shift below 1600rpm. Where as I drive a LDT then 1400rpm -1600rpm is the proper range for down shifting in my truck.

    My M35A2: Number 1

Did you have to raise your bed or did you increase the travel of your suspension to allow for full movement of the 15.5's???

Why do i need a deuce? Cause their sweet!

The fording kits basically just give you schnokle for the intake and pressurize the flywheel housing.

but are they 14:00-20's or are they 395/85R 20's? I noticed that was your truck on super singles, I was just telling you why people think the A3 is less of a truck. Personally I just don't like the Allison transmission in it other then that I would buy a A3 it has everything I want but a 6spd...

A3's are driven by sissy's don't you know that? I mean after all it has an automatic tranny and CTIS oh and more power too boot... Actually I don't dig the automatic tranny so much but the CAT engine makes about 180hp as compared to my 130 and the CTIS is cool to plus it has super single 14:00R...
