Yes most peaple listen to those that did it wrong and get scared not a bad job ! I like the let them set about 45 min to a hour to drip down befor I drop the pan less mess! to me Good job!

I would change the belt and see what happens A little slip from a belt will show as a weak alt the reading you are getting are not bad both batterys are 12 volt so about 14.3 14.5 is the reading you want! the only part of system that is 24 is the starter if you check the battery post or output...

NO the 1009 have dif. gears 3:08's so you will get better milage with a 1009 the trucks 1008 1028 and so on have more a work gear 4:56

One thing to remember the glow plug also uses that sender to know rather glow plugs are needed ! its not just for the hi idle

I get about 60 psi cold and about 25 - 30 warm at idle and about 45 - 50 at speed the general rule of thumb is you need at least 10 psi oil pressure per 1000 rpm[thumbzup]
