Yeah..I hear ya...I'm just wondering if they changed the color codes? I can't find the ones that I should be finding.
I'll call SEM and see what they tell me.
I have read countless threads on the paint codes for the SEM brand, but am not finding a match on the current SEM website. They are giving a different paint code of either 4725 Dk Bronze or 4050 Very Dk Bronze...
I spoke with the gentlemen who built the IP and he seems to think that it is one of the fuel lines causing the issue, so I am working to get the mechanic and the builder on a call to discuss further. It seems that these old school diesels are a different breed than the new ones today and the...
It was either I pick it up or it get thrown in the scrapper when they trash the truck. Figured I'd keep it or get it to someone who could use it, since mine has been converted. :)
Bought parts for my 09 today at a salvage yard. Found a M1009 at a salvage yard and was able to get my rifle mounts for inside the cab, a power strip for inside the cab, several other odds and ends, and a rear bench seat in great condition for cheap.
Oh...and a resistor from the firewall. :)
Well, I got a call this morning. They tell me that the IP I brought them is not working, so...they will take it off, over the next couple of days, when they get caught up on their other projects, and then give it to me, so that the IP mechanic can repair it. This means at least another week...

Well...my mechanic calls me this afternoon after taking her on a test run and tells me that in...
That actually helps confirm it for me, so thank you for the reply. Sometimes it just helps to hear it, before throwing down good money on a project.
I appreciate it.
I know there are a LOT of places to get dashpads and I've read so many postings about dashpads that my head is spinning.
Who has the best quality replacement dashpad?
Are the ones from our favorite catalog distributor worth it?
Anyone else have any worthwhile?
Are there any stores that carry...
I ripped out old blue carpet that the prior owner put in and now there is adhesive all over the floor.
How do I remove the old, dried adhesive?
I plan on laying down bedliner in the interior.
Thanks.
Started working on pulling out the blue carpet that the Sheriff's Dept had installed. Took out the bench seat and the passenger seat to do it. No major rust, which is exciting. Now I have to figure out how to remove all the old adhesive that kept the carpet down. Once it's cleaned well, I think...
