Sweet. That could seal the deal, right there. Although I would love to switch out and put in a 4BT, I would rather just stick with this one until it's completely dead.
Thanks to all.....
I'll take a breath and rethink through everything tomorrow! :)
I like the idea of rebuilding it myself...may have to consider that.
I'll reach out to K9Vic tomorrow, as well.
thanks again....
More and more my IP is giving me troubles. I have to keep bottles of water in the truck and pour over the IP each time, if I turn the engine off, when warm, for more than 30 mins.
Although I love the truck, I can't keep worrying about this truck leaving me stranded and I also don't want to...
I finally have my CUCV running fairly well, except for the IP that will need to be replaced one day. (It won't start after running, from time to time..)
That being said, I have run out of time to do some major/minor work on it, so I need to find someone in the N Texas area who is familiar with...
Yes, Sir...they did. That second alt is gone, on the drivers side, and in it's place is a nice looking AC compressor. Now I just need to see if I can get her running. :)
It seems as though I have the plumbing for the AC. Lines seem to be there. Wiring, I'll need to work on.
Looks as though field mice lived in vents at some point. Any way to clean those good?
I was literally just thinking about that. What information should I start gathering about the setup in order to start troubleshooting it??
Electrical connections
freon hoses
what else?
That is another area I have absolutely no experience in.
