Did you fry it while doing the dog mod, If so how? Were the batteries connected?
If you know the starter soleniod it's fried, then replace it.
Oh, Welcome to the forum!
Your not bugging anyone. The Glow plugs run on 12V from the factory on the CUCV. Check my user photo album, I have a picture of the 60Gs box. Google it, I got mine for $7.25/pc a few weeks ago. iirc.
You can always test yours per the TM to confirm No Good. I believe 1-3 ohms is what good plugs...

Exactly, I have seen twin marine engines where they turned opposite one another.
Back to the OP. Out of curiosity, why do you ask? Which way does yours spin?

Sometimes what seems like lost prime could be bad Glow Plugs. I'll admit, I thought the same about my...
What is your best guess at what % wmo is currently in the tank? It takes a couple of tanks to flush it all out. I would keep running straight Diesel, run it almost all the way out fuel then refill with Diesel only. Injector cleaner may not be a bad idea. Check the airfilter as well.
For the price the Hummer radials are hard to beat. I gave $75/pc for like new tires, $50/set of 4 GM factory 16.5 wheels and have been very pleased with the setup.
