The TM shows gaskets for both flywheel housing to block and trans to bell housing. what purpose do they serve ? Insulator or for deep water travel ? RTv ? Or do I need to source new ones ?

Waiting for clutch. The good news is the flywheel had been replaced and was virgin so it cleaned up nice with a fresh cut . Clutch is on order from Kublos and oil pump gaskets from TNJ . I stripped the old motor yesterday. It was a good experience because now I know how to dissamble pretty muvh...

Ok problem. Reading TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 page 677 sect 5-47 through page 683 5-53. It shows a gasket with the short picktube for the rear sump but doesnt show squat for the front tube. Is that also a pickup tube ?? Does it need a gasket ? Tm seems to be missing info here.
