Brown ones on the left are ctis seals. 2 per wheel. Look like wheel seals to the right. Some fuel filters oil filters. I wouldn't mess with my axles as long as the fluid level is good and you are not having any issues with them.
Looks like fun. The parts tm should show the assembly order. There are some minor brake and wiring differences 1998 and after. Not sure if anything in the axles changed.
Thats what im thinking. Such is life. I have a nice new set of goodyears on my truck now that I put together from multiple trucks. Unless a newer set of 1400s come along I will have to stick with those.

I was going to put 1400s on my m1078 but cant find a good newer set of tires. All the ones I find are 2010 and older. Already 7 years old. Cant find anything actually new or close to it.
Put the computer in. See what happens. If that doesn't fix the problem I would lean towards a harness issue before the trans pack itself. Harness is cheap trans pack is big bucks.
