Sounds like you want to do 70, have you given ANY THOUGHT to the SINGLE CIRCUT JUICE BRAKE SYSTEM, If you want go this fast why not put the 818 tin on a civi truck that has air brakes.
I am guessing that it has been loose for a while and wore down the stub and the inside of the stick clamp, I would spread the clamp a bit, use some shim stock around the stub, then clamp over the shim stock.
Mine seem to fit ok, no forcing, tight but drop in, the holders that will not allow a drop in I find that the corners are bent in, a 3lb hammer fixes that.
If you look at the pictures real close, you will see a extra counterweight attached to the mast rear stays for max lift, the gantry is pinned to the rear behind the counterweights, then when it is time to travel or swing with no load, the mast is run forward a bit which in turn LIFTS the extra...
So is that a YES or a NO for taking part in OPERATION BS ??

You REALLY need to check the holes, both in the collar and the shaft, make sure they are round, not drilled over size, and that the mating edges are NOT pulled because of pin breakage OR wrong pin (to small or bolt), ANY of these conditions WILL lead to very early pin breakage.
What about a speedometer adaptor from a HEMTT. All the adaptors drive off the out put of the trans, transfer, or aux. trans., and they all just about the same only set up for tire size/gearing, it is worth a try.
