This is why the mk31 is overpriced for what it is. Too complicated and 0 support for any of the hydraulics and electronics. https://mega.nz/file/zZUGgBAL#qIv3ETsmzeF3ToquoMeUGCv2Uudko-q7Tw7Q-JZfx6Y
One of my trucks got the special marine corps treatment. Only thing wrong with it was the flashers don't work. Turns out the metal part of the horn fell into the flasher system. They tried to remove the steering wheel but broke the column and messed up the steering wheel.
If you mess up your steering column removing the steering wheel your rear lights on your truck will never work properly again without a new steering column which from what I can tell is totally proprietary.
Need full DEALER LEVEL CAT ET with factory password generator and ALLISON Software and a J1939 compatible hardware data link. I offer a service to reprogram both ECM and TCM.
Circled part should come off the bottom part. What is stopping it going in any further is the end of the threads on the bolt are interfering with the threads on the spindle when you are free spinning that plug while the bolt remains stationary and you are forcing the threads into eachother...
Ahh. I think what you pulled out is the outer plug with a magnet on it that also pulled out the Allen key that olds the sun gear to the spindle on the cv axle. See pics below but you should be able to pull the bolt off the top part and reinsert the bolt into the spindle and tighten the sun gear...
limp mode is not a ctis setting or a mode. It is a style of driving. There is a ctis off switch in the cabin. The lockers actually WILL NOT LET YOU DRIVE the truck with one axle in the air. The lockers must be engaged and will automatically disengage at higher speeds.
I have spares you can buy for your trip. Also running the truck missing any tires is considered limp home mode. So maximum of 15mph. Running with the rear tires off will also cause premature wear to many components. Getting the 600+ pound tires in the bed with any type of ramp is a death...
Global Electronics in Buford Ga can probably help you out. They seem to be able to fix anything electronic that I have. Programming would have to be another member due to me currently not having access to a CTIS to datalink adapter.
