Mike did you guys have any of the hi/low aluminum shelters in Iraq? And if so, how did they work? I'm thinking about getting one for a M1082 trailer and converting it in to a camper.

I believe the tail lights and markers are 25 amp so if you keep those 4 sizes you should be fine.

Nice mods. I especially like the lights mounted on the antanae mounts. I might try something like that with a magnetic base and quick release plug so I could pull the lights for a show but still have them available to use for trail rides and such.

Not to be argumentative but I'd think a vehicle whose sole purpose is to haul a trailer should be ok to have one attatched. Something like a M109 with a MKT attached is a single vehicle with a piece of auxilary equipment. A HET is supposed to have a trailer with it. In the end it doesn't...

I find it amusing all the folks saying they'd never own a LMTV and then trashing them. I've owned many MVs including deuces (still have one) and a 923A2. I'd take my M1078 over any of them.
