Nice old Oliver. We have a Oliver 1650 High Crop and a White 2-70 I think they both have the Waukeshau. Any one know a good place to have the pump overhauled? The 2-70 has the governor ring breaking down plugging the fuel return check.
My uncle had an Oliver 35 years ago, I don't remember the...
I don't know about the electric winch, other than cool factor. I would doubt that you would amass a towing bill that high in ten years.
Spicergear very nice truck
I also wanted to mention that the bearings/ cups should be inspected before packing along with the recommended cleaning.
Video is not bad. I have to admit I do put a light coating of grease on the shaft and in the hub. There always seems to be some extra in between fingers under watch or on...
I have used the Aircraft Stripper in steel and it works great. Aluminum I don't know. It is some nasty stuff, You will need one of those Nuke suits to work with it:roll:
I have read on another site that deals with Mercedes that there is some sort of clay prep needed for surface prep on...
I thought I had a great idea when I replaced my 6 tl's with wally mart batteries. I have had three of them fail within two years, just out of warranty and no pro-rating that is it. I have two more that I think are about to croak.
I replaced my 5 ton's with two 4D's I think Exide? from TSC there...
The shaft and bearing housing look too long. The one simp5782 has in his photo is the correct pump for a Multi engine. You may be able to mount a pulley on it and fab a bracket for a belt drive?
I have found that alot of pumps have similar model numbers with a different suffix. And that can be...

That unit with the hand crank is an older model. No big deal as long as it works. I don't know if you can kill those old stick machines.
My grandfafher had one of the hand crank models and it worked until we stoped using it.
Can you get any extras with it? Helmet or good rod?
I agree with the 220 volt unit. I have used a couple different brands that were 110 volt and was disappointed with the performance of the Century but somewhat pleased with the Lincoln SP110? I found that after welding for awhile they both would shut down on overload to cool down.
The Hobart...
The OM617 is a great engine. With that being said they are cold blooded. You will need the glow circuit and relay as posted earlier.
Before putting it in the truck I would do a couple things. Check the rear main seal, Check compression should be 350lbs +, Remove glow plugs and ream the bore and...
The lever to your left behind the parking brake lever is how you control the dump. If that is not working check the linkage to the pto/valve body. Also read the TM's about proper operation.
I have an M812 in great mechanical shape, could use paint and I have a couple small items to fix (tail light, fuel gauge)
My question is what should it be valued at? I would like to sale it but need a good starting place, Since there are not alot to compare it to.
I have used a rag lightly soaked with gas with good results. It is better to have a helper to do this. You do not get the violent knocking.
Ether is ok if you can meter it, just spraying it in the snorkel, well You know.......
I don't use ether unless it is an emergency.
Doesn't it have any...
Since You have had the IP out and the H-Head off I would check your timing just to rule that out. TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 pg.5-172- 5-183
You might check your return lines for kinks or bent tubing. Is your in-tank pump running or are you sucking fuel to the IP? if the pump is running it would...
