Buddy of mine got a m1009 out of Jeff city some time back, seems most of the items out of there is in good shape. Was watching a few there yesterday, but went for more than I was willing to pay. Congrats on your win.
Its a 300 ohm resister. I don't now where you might find the mil spec one, but you can use any 300 ohm resister that you buy at radio shack and tin it to the lugs.
This is a big can of worms tons of post on here about the subject, just do some searching. Yes you are under the CDL except for CA. The thing to keep in mind is what is NV's different class for a DL? Ie. here in IL a reg DL (class D) would only cover you to 12k or 16k don't recall which...
I know I maybe somewhat stupid, just ask my wife.
What if your transfer switch amp and volt is set to say L1 which is 3 phase, reconnect switch is set to 120v 1 phase. What is going to be the output? Yes I know not to do that, but I too am confused in the difference between the 2 switches.
Big diff in gears. The m1009 has 3.08's not good for pulling anything, but good hiway speed. M1008 has 4.56's great for pulling, bad on the hiway. My M1008 I only run 55mph going down the road, don't want to blow the 6.2.
1qwkgoat, typical rear's in a semi (company truck) are 3.55's, 22.5 low rpo tires and a 10 spd. My truck has 3.36's you lose a little in the pulls, 24.5 low pro tires and 13 spd trans. Have only ever had the truck up to 90mph(praying I didn't blow a steer tire), but on paper should run out at...
Monty hope yours is as good or better. GL rep was great, but didn't get his name. Plan on the set being dry, No air, oil or fuel filters. Also the fuel lines had been disconceted. Only thing that was MIA was the grounding rods. Can you tell from your lot pics if it has a 135 painted on it...
Maybe its just me. But a M35 is what it is, I love my LD465 non turbo.(don't want to go over 55mph in it) It does a great job. Why not get a 500hp cat or det in a 6x6 kenworth, freightliner or PB for your speed and braking . I don't mean to offend anyone, it just seems everybody wants to...
Isaac-1, they didn't do any weight in or out, just put it in the bed of the dodge and away we went. Was nice that it was listed as scrap as no EUC was needed.
Your autoparts store is NOT going to have it. Its only used on the military chevrolets with the 6.2 diesel. They pop up on ebay from time to time, or front line supply has them for about 150.00 IIRC. If your card is missing you can rig up a manual switch. Look in the stickys for the cucv...
Picked up yesterday from Rock Island, IL. GL rep there was great, had the set on the forklift ready to go when we got there. It was listed as scrap in last weeks sale, so it was a roll of the dice. Showing just under 1500 hrs. All fluids were drained, but today she fired to life on the first...
