    Sight glass needed

Look at a farm store. They use a glass insert in the pistol grip syringes on hog farms. Should work fine for a sight glass with a few mods.

Has anyone here used this tool?

I have one of those. I also used it for my hub flip and it was good as gold. When I tried to use it for the ujoint in my 3/4 ton dodge van, it was too small. The first one I got was a bad casting and the end collapsed on itself. They took it back and gave me a new one.

    power stirring a goat

Please don't be mad I could not resist. I can't help with the armstrong steering on the goat. But if you want to do some serious stirring get a 24 volt to AC converter and try this.

HELP! M-915 AM General, Put in drive, Engine dies? What the #%&* ???

I don't know what is causing your problem but I have something you can check. Look on the drivers side of the engine. Find the pt pump. Your throttle linkage is hooked to it. On top of the pump is an electric solenoid that shuts of the engine when the key is turned off. There is a hand...

    M939A1 vs M939A2

As a previous owner of an m817 and a current owner of 915a1s I know that there is a lot of unused potential in the cummins 855 cube motor. I thought the ntc 250 was a dog. I have a farm tractor that has a cummins this is the same as the 8.3. It is a very compact and easy to maintain engine...

    915 series heater motor

I found my part number 274653. It is priced between $45 and $120 online. This website also has it listed in with about 20 other part numbers. Dillon Radiator - Quality Radiators at Affordable Prices! - Dillon Radiator Inc. I think I am all set. I hope this helps someone else.

    915 series heater motor

The one from my farm is in the New Holland combine. Go figure. They want $200 for it at the dealer. I found it somewhere else for about $75. Now if I can just remember where...

    915 series heater motor

The heater motor in my 915a1 died. I pulled it and it has about 3/4 inch of in and out play in the motor. I recently changed the blower in a piece of farm equipment we have. It looked like the same motor. I pulled the farm one and they are exactly the same. Now if I can find my old paperwork...

    Click click BOOM!

That sucks, sorry to hear that happened. Thanks for posting though, I had no idea that there was enough power in either to grenade a motor. I knew you could hurt them by using to much. I always figured it was from hydrolock. I will be watching for posts on the 4bt swap. I want to make a...

    Please help identifi this welder

I don't know a thing about the welder. The engine is the same as the one on my air compressor. There have been a ton of them surplussed out in the last few years. I have seen them sell new or rebuilt in crates for as low as $400. They won't last long at those kind of prices. There is a...

Spring in MI, 817's at work

Great video! Was it my old truck that lost the clutch? I just ask because I do not think I saw it in the movie. That should test and find any weak components. I hope you are making money hand over fist in conditions like that. No one is going to replace you without mining trucks.

    VW autostick oil pump

I am about 90% sure that is a regular vw pump with a different cover to hook up lines to the auto stick. They used oil pressure to push the clutch when you moved the shifter. I think there are better pumps out there for your app. A stick shift vw pump would work just as well as that one and...

I think Carnac posted that he has one now. The post generated a ton of interest. I'm surprised you did not see it.
