Kinda looks like a school bus to me. I mean if buses were od green and cool. I will still be making short bus jokes about them because I am jealous that I don't have one.
Try Matera paper or Gulf coast paper in San Antonio for some Spartan SMB 130. It is a commercial degreaser. The selling point on it is the metal conditioners included in the formula. They keep the white powdery look off your aluminum. It also controls hard water spotting. I sell a ton of it...
Keep an eye on the government liquidation site. On the right hand side of the screen they often have contests for best uses of surplus equipment. You should submit this post just the way it is and collect your free chit. Last time they gave away some i pads. Thank you for putting a very...
This has been super helpful to me so far. I can't thank you enough. When you get around to the aneroid adjustment I will be on the edge of my chair. One of my trucks has aneroid trouble. When it shifts there is a pretty good lag then the turbo finally spools up and I get full power. I think...
The white brand farm tractor used the same block and basic design for a few years. It had different pistons and fuel system. You might see if you can find a pulling tractor crew who knows about hot rodding the white engine. Those tractor pull guys have blown up everything and practice my...
I stopped at one in Iowa about a year ago. They were having a contest to name their big gulp size travel soda. Someone had written *um Bucket on all of the cardboard signs with a marksalot. My wife took pictures. You have to wonder what the minutes to that board meeting read like.
I hope there was a rope to keep the pubic back. I would fondle that in a completely inappropriate manner if there was no rope to keep me back! Super cool!
The sku# on my inv. was 113377. MFG SPI. They do not have a part # listed and it is not on their website. They are very phone order friendly. I called they 800 number on the website and they had everything located in 5 minutes. The alternator part # is A8003
Don't give up hope entirely. About half the time the items are listed again soon. Also sometimes the items were not to be sold at all and someone made a mistake. Good Luck!
I am at a week in on my new alternator. It is still working great. Does anyone have any idea how the 12 volt terminal on this alternator works? I am guessing it is just a resister but I hoped some of our more electronics knowledgeable members might have a better idea. I really want to hook...
Not a huge price. If you want to restore an older truck it may be right for you. If you are looking for something to put some miles on I think the gasser might be to expensive to fuel. The air leak is something you want to find before you seal the deal. It should not be a huge problem...
spidermarine.com, delco 21si alternator. I got the one set up for cummins. You have to call the 800 number and ask for the pulley. It is not listed on the website. part no. A8003
About Thanksgiving time the alternator on my deuce decided to give up. I took it to be rebuilt. I called twice and the rebuilder had not got around to it yet. At the 4 week point I walked in the shop and saw my alternator sitting right where I had left it. I told them I wanted it back and...
I think that the deuce is the best starting diesel I have ever been around. As long as mine has a good battery it fires right up. This includes some 10 below starts. I have never been able to check the flame heater because it is running before I hit the switch.
If the battery in your gps is toast duct tape two 6 volt lantern batteries together. Solder a wire between the positive and negative just like putting truck batteries in series for 24 volts. Attach a cheep cigar lighter to the batteries and you have instant 12v gps power for your recovery...
