RE: Re: New jacket fo rthe Ole M37
SACRILEGE!!! And here I thought you were taking such good care of that ole truck of mine---NAVY GRAY??????
Hey, the one in the pic isn't gray!
Are you going to try to get down to the numbers before you paint over it again?
just for us old timers
First time I've seen the RTFM, but I love it.
Most of these are simple compared with what the kids are texting now. Everyone seen that commercial about the LITTLE girl getting her cell phone taken away because of texting too much? I needed the subtitles for that one!
it's supposed to be annoying
It's intentionally loud so your NCO or supervisor knows when you are operating your truck outside of safe limits. If I saw a truck moving and heard the buzzer, I knew that driver needed some "positive reinforcement of previous training goals".
If I found a buzzer...
THANKS!!!!! Now slsf I ahl have eee to g get ettee a as new neewwwsw ke keyboard, this i sos one ne has s drool all over it!!!!!
I never heard about that place when my folks lived in Tucson. Looks like it's not too far from the Pima Air Museum.
WTS-check my ads in the classifieds for manuals available.
It would be nice if everyone would use the classifieds as they exist now. I never did see the other system in operation. The only problem that I see from a "teaser" posting is when the thread gets off into "I saw one of those back...
ditto on NEVER
Fuel cans and water cans have different closing systems/caps. If you have put fuel into a water can, PLEASE label it in 4" letters "FOR FUEL ONLY" on all sides. I had to use my water cans in an emergency one winter, and it wasn't until I was pouring the water into the coffee...
NOt all the 1031's were set up for ordnance maintenance. You're actually looking for a "supply catalog" that would list the specific equipment for the using unit and the specific purpose of the truck. My guard engineer detachment had three of these trucks, but they only had the genset and the...
Had a for sale sign on the M37 with plow at the car show. Prospective buyer liked it. The 1965 Galaxie on the pass side didn't. Did I feel like a heel!
Swede-
If you like original issue manuals and want to save printer paper and ink, I've got an operator's manual (TM9-2320-289-10) used for $10. Also a -10HR which is an inventory list of what tools and equipment go with it. PM me if you're interested.
At least he got his own. .
Cabell,
At least he bought his own truck instead of whining about wanting yours! Goes to show why the M37 is the first love of many a MV owner.
And, I don't see the pics yet!
Glad it turned out to be relaitvely minor. You had me concerned when i first saw the post. That truck doesn't rrealize how lucky it is that you bought it.
York-
Your original post suggested you would have one or the other- your M35 modified or the M275 modified. Keep with that strategy and you'll have room for the M757. I would suggest that there is someone out there that would buy yours so you can have enough to get the 275.
BTW, for the...
Soon as I get a job I'll take one of each. Especially the ball-cap. That and a "bigbee" name tag will help you all find me (or avoid me) if I make it to any MV shows.
Nice pics. Now I've got to get a new keyboard, this one's got drool all in between the keys1!!!!!!!!!
Course, I've come to realize I don't want to own them all, I just want to be able to drive them any time I choose AS IF they were my own. Let someone else do the maintenance and pay the bills...
