Watched your video, fantastic work. Great audio, nice production values. Thanks, I really appreciate it.
I have a couple of 016b generators sitting here in Tualatin, was trying to figure out how to get 240vac ~and pull out a neutral. Will give the Low Zigzag connection a try.
Let me explain further and see if you still thing that is the case.
If I start out in 1-2, the transmission shifts up at about 1700. Then accelerates further and 'seems to shift' again at about 1600. The other gears do not do that.
Are you suggesting that the torque converter is slipping up...
I like the Allison in my 923 overall, but mine needs a little work. It leaks some fluid and the shift points are not consistent.
Here's a weird one. I thought the Allison in that truck was five speeds but here's what mine does.
When I put it into 1-2 it shifts up twice. Then I get another...
Anyone tried WMO blends in the Cummins NHC 250?

I am pretty sure a VIN inspection by a state police officer should do the trick. I bought a trailer in a neighboring state and checked the VIN against the title. One digit was wrong on the title. The seller went to the DMV and initiated paperwork that culminated in a VIN inspection by a state...
Another factor that keeps me off of trails with my deuce is the low hanging fuel tank. Even with 46" tires, that thing is still hanging down there unprotected. Once you get in a big rut that some rock crawlers have made, you are going to be on that big fat tank.
If Doc doesn't have any of them left, he will know where they went.
How much volume of fuel do you need to push? A 24vdc fuel transfer pump with the power cable taped to a flexible section of fuel line can be dropped into the tank and will work, but your flow rate with that setup will not fill...
OK, based on Emmado's suggestion that the diagram ~is in the TMs, I excercised my Search Fu, and;;;
I found it! TM 9-2320-272-24-4 Appendix H-1, Page 819
Just so happens that I have TM 9-2320-272-10 open, and have spent about six hours reading it so far. I might have missed something, but I am pretty sure the electrical schematics are not in that TM. Plenty of function diagrams, but...
I have read all relevant parts of it, just skipped wrecker...
Here's an Allison Automatic shift story for you;;;
Picked up a new to me m923 at Ft Lewis today. Started and ran great, so after checking things over, headed for home. I was shifting up through the gears manually instead of using 1-5. It seems to like shifting the best around 1800 or so.
So...
The perfect pump for your application does exist. Doc Farmall had a bunch of them a while back. He would be the first person I would ask.
Frequently there are some very nice single cylinder diesel generators on GL that are on skids that will make 120vac. Usually they are Yanmar powered. Often...
I haven't seen a schematic either. There are probably individual circuit breakers that automatically reset, rather than a fuse block.
First, take the cover off the light that works, and with it lit, trace the wire out of the light housing to where the connector is. Note the wire number on the...
Great to see those trucks put to work on a farm. That is a use that makes a lot of sense. Farm trucks sit a lot, don't get a lot o miles. Usually short hauls. Sure could have used a truck like that when I was in the farming business.
What a great deal. Just curious, what brand is the adjustable end wrench? Wondering what was issued.
I just picked up a snatch block just like that in new condition for $45 and thought I bought it cheap. Going to use it to hang a deer from if I ever get one.
There are a bunch of us in the Portland area. What are you thinking to include?
Any interest in a regular meetup? How about Longview, Kalama, or Ridgefield?
Any interest? Vantucky even?
