Euro size / Mog pintel eye help

The FBW has a Rocklinger type pintel receiver which is very long as it sits over the spare tire. I'd love provide photos, but my phone cam is acting up. I've decided to cut the 'eye' off the yoke and replace it with an eye that will fit. Careful Troll.... 8)

Euro size / Mog pintel eye help

Greetings fellow Mog owners..... I'm trying to hook my 1944 Army Corps of Engineers trailer to my 1938 FBW (upcoming event). The trailer has a standard (large) pintel eye, and the FBW has a small Mog-type pintel receiver. Anyone adapted their US military trailer to their Mog? If so, what did...

More octane won't hurt anything. Use 100LL. It costs $3.50 up per gallon. Smaller airports, lower fuel prices, generally.

    Somewhat Sad Day at GL??

My first buy from GL was an XM818 w/ow from Ft. Meade. They sent the wrong truck home with the driver. The trailer I won at Aberdeen, MD was a total POS and my driver left it there. I was the FOURTH person to turn it down. The photos somehow appeared FARRRR better than the reality on the...

    Please help... Another electrical meltdown

Found under the "Doghead starter relay modification" thread, page one, from Turkey131..... "I just finished converting my M1009 and it works great. Very easy and now I do not have to deal with my controller frying my glow plugs. The hardest part was drilling the whole in the dash. Very...

    Please help... Another electrical meltdown

Ok, ok, I made the modification yesterday. Works great. :-) My only question is why would someone refer to this solving their potential sticky glow plug relay issue. I've heard the horror stories about these relays sticking and melting the glow plugs into the engine. Is this addressed...

Excellent directions. Repair went without a hitch and is functioning as advertised. A little Molykote 55M grease helped with the sealing cup friction. Mucho thankso TX!
