I'm thinking of buying a Jeep half top which is located outside of Minneapolis. Is there anyone that could pick it up and find some way of getting it to me?
Is there a page on SS that lists MV clubs in each state? If not, maybe we could have one. It would be a good way to recruit new members and share information.
List,
As you may know, the MVPA Convention is being held in Portland, OR this year. It is taking place at the same time that the annual Northwest Mogfest happens. We are planning a convoy of European vehicles from Sheridan, OR (NWMF) to the MVPA Convention. Anyone who wants to participate in...
This looks a lot like a Mighty Mite:

Ok...any doctors in the house? I'm now dreaming of OD!!!
I dreamt that I bought a really nice deuce and was driving it along the beach in NJ with a couple other deuce owners. Everyone loved the truck. The only pitfall of the dream was that I had a heck of a time getting it into a parking spot!
I mounted new turn signals on my Mite today. They are much smaller and don't look out of place like the 4" round signals. I have four more of these if anyone needs them.
I'm looking for a CJ5 hard top to fit my M38A1. Well, actually, I want to modify it to fit my Mighty Mite. I have an Arctic top for my M38A1 but I don't want to hack that up. I would even take a half cab. Doors are not needed but I wouldn't mind having a pair for the M38A1.
Thanks!
Ok...so while I was trying to punch a hole in my freeze plug, it got driven into the block. I can barely reach it with my fingers and will spend an incredible amount of time cursing if I try to get to it again. However, I need to get it back to the hole and try to remove it.
My question is...
I'm trying to get the carb rebuild kit for my Mite. The Holley carb that is on it has numbers: 6R1822B. However, this does not match with any of my auto parts suppliers books. Can someone give me a compatible number so I can order a kit?
Thanks in advance!
I'm tired of draining my batteries every time the temps dip near zero here. Can anyone recommend where to get an inexpensive block heater for the 6.2?
Thanks in advance!
Does anyone have Mite wiring diagrams they can scan or photocopy and send me? I have all of the other manuals except the wiring and I have a few things that aren't working on my Mite.
Thanks in advance.
After cutting some firewood, I realized that it was a little warm today, probably around thirty or so. The skies are overcast but that didn't stop me from taking the Mite out for a spin. It wasn't really cold since it can only do 45mph. I mostly stayed on the snow covered dirt roads. I...
Hey Guys,
I really need to get rid of some of my trailers. I'm doing renovations on my home and I know that I am going to come up short on funds. I also need the space. Since I sold my Unimog, I don't have a vehicle that can pull some of them. I have three trailers for sale, all located in...
Anybody with pictures of the building or maintenance of the ALCAN Highway? I have a trailer with 341 Engineering Co & ALCAN HWY DIV markings. It's a great trailer but has no data plate. I'm thinking it is a civilian conversion. However, it is supposed to have three ramps for a specialized...
Were fuel cans ever mounted to a Mighty Mite? If so, where would they go? My guess is on the rear next to the spare tire. I'm thinking of putting one there.
Thanks!
I've noticed that my M1009 takes longer to start at higher elevations. I have to crank the engine longer and then it fires right up. I'm living at 6500' right now but when I get down to near sea level, the truck starts right up within seconds.
Is there anything that can be done to compensate...
Can someone take a picture of the bracket that holds the tire onto the tire rack? I don't seem to have one. Is it the same as an M38A1?
Thanks,
Mike Pop
