Their's your problem! Your bleeding it wrong. If you release that pedal with the bleeder open (those first 2 foot pumps), you are introducing air. Push the pedal, open the bleeder, close the bleeder, then release the pedal. Then repeat. Don't stop until the fluid is clear and no bubbles...
