The FDC is a convince item. That's why the manufacturer developed the FDC. It does not change the engine's ability to burn alternative fuels. That is a fact - plain and simple...
No, don't replace the hub. The studs are replaceable. This holds true from a Honda to a Deuce to a bus.

Well, on the off chance that it does exist, I was going to pick it up with my dad who lives in Gibraltar. But what do you think the chances of that working out? I bet someone picked it up 5 minutes after it was posted.
If you have the money, I would put Allison's TransSend synthetic ATF in the trans. You can get it at an Allison dealer.
I would not put 15W40 in the trans. 15w40 used to be fine and it kept it simple to have one fluid for both the trans and engine. But today's 15w40 will eat away at...

Do you have a proper license to drive a Deuce on CA roads?
Or better yet, get a Deuce winch and power it via hydraulics. With that you could use Milemarker controls (like a wireless remote). But you would need to add an LDS pump for this to work. I don't like the PTO driven winch compared to electric/hydro. There is less control.
