Here is the PS mag on the clutch. The bearing is an intermittent use bearing. It will fail if it is allowed to constantly turn with the engine. If it's out of adjustment, it needs to be fixed ASAP.
RE: Weekend from hot place
Wow that sucks.
I just spent the weekend repacking bearings/cleaning mud out of the brake drums/draining the axles. All due to mudding... I think I will stick to using the Jeep in the mud and keep the deuce out of the yuck. Sounds like it's going to take a lot of...
Saturn has the NSN 2530-01-105-5025 upgrade kit. Listed @ $38.50. The upgrade makes your truck have one less thing that could cause a hydraulic leak/failure.
Look'in great! It that panel with the turn signal arrows custom made? How/where/cost? I didn't know you were getting rid of the pull stop cable. Is the solenoid always energized with the engine running? Kill the power and it pulls back in? Or is power required to move to each position...

The internal regulator of the deuce alternator has failed. It apparently failed sometime ago... The stock regulator is fused to the back cover of the alternator cover with electronics goo. Does anyone know where to get a replacement regulator. How about an after-market version if they are...
Any progress on the cruise control system?
Following in your foot steps, I have found a filter head with should work as is with the 51970XD oil filter. It has an adjustable by-pass, but can easily be made to not by-pass. The 15 seconds of zero oil pressure is killing me at every startup! aua
I have posted an OSHA written procedure for mounting and dismounting Split rim wheels. It's a 7 page PDF with pictures. The article is waiting to be approved in the 'Technical Articles' section...
I checked the fuel cut off. The lever moves with little resistance forward and back. The normal/"fuel on" position seems to be slightly more forward then the picture shows. A potential issue?
