    Cheap M1009 for sale

I would guess $2500-$3000. The ones I was looking at on GL were going for $3500 and up, which is why I thought this one was a good deal. I still think it was, I don't have the time for it.

Genneral Questions about CUCVs, still trying to get one!

I've got one for $1500 that just needs some floor pans, front inner fenders and a tranny seal. A little far from you, but a good price: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?t=26857

    Some Setting Adjustments needed...

Personally, I like the colors, but I could see where it might be a problem for some. Mike, maybe after the fuss dies down and you get some time you could provide an alternative stylesheet and some instructions on how to use it in IE and Firefox? Maybe just change the background and text color...

quick question!!!!! I'm changing my oil!!

Re: RE: quick question!!!!! I I just did mine and did not use the square-cut ones. I don't know if that was right, but there was nowhere to put them, so I figured it was okay. I got my filter set from ODIron.

    Looks like a good project...CHEAP!!

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Looks like a good project...CHEAP!! Maybe this is sarcasm, in which case color me stupid, but it seems like an awful waste. Why not drive it as is or, if you're worried about it being stock, re-power it with the stock powerplant and tranny? For $900+ you could do just...

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Looks like a good project...CHEAP!! That's probably true, but I doubt she knows anything about that.

    Looks like a good project...CHEAP!!

Re: RE: Re: RE: Looks like a good project...CHEAP!! Well, significantly more horsepower than the stock motor. Probably similar torque, but I'm not sure on that. 300+ ft/lbs of torque isn't unusual for a 350, is it? I have no idea how it would perform in a deuce, but I'm guessing that's what...

    Looks like a good project...CHEAP!!

http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/898827244.html Crap, why do I already have one? Think I can hide it somewhere? Supposedly has a 350 and Allison auto-tranny. Somebody save this thing!!!! (wish it could be me)

    Cheap M1009 for sale

Re: RE: Re: RE: Cheap M1009 for sale Was yours from GL? Yeah, it was probably a bad buy, and if it doesn't sell, I'll just keep it and continue to work on it, no big deal, but the wife would probably prefer it was gone.

    Standard upgrades

Those all sound pretty good. The hubs are pretty expensive, though. As mentioned, the pre-lube system would be good, too. Any others?

    Standard upgrades

I've read about a lot of upgrades guys have done to their trucks. I was wondering if there were a set of "standard" upgrades that people do to their trucks? Things like coolant filters, spin-on or remote oil filters, spin-on fuel filter(s). Anything that would extend the life of the truck or...

The generator/fan belts are 9470. Not sure about the compressor belt. I think they are all in the parts cross-reference.

    First long trip

Sorry, no pics :) Took a two hour trip (4 hours rount trip) this weekend. This was the first long trip with the deuce, so I was interested to see how it went. She ran great on the highway. Once the engine and tires were warm, I was humming at 55 mph and staying above 50 on the hills. Seems...
