Deuce Recovery from Palm Bay Drainage Ditch

I love the Golden Corral in Palm Bay! Sure miss Florida though. Thanks for sharing the experience. Good photo coverage for sure.

    MEPs on Casters

Jerry, I unloaded a MEP-003 with an engine lift. Also used the lift to move it to the cradle it is on today. I then modified the trailer to dump. Should have done the dump mod first. :jumpin:

    No primer, just paint.

    Trailer Tarp

I have painted 3 with Gillispie. Good results. Clean with thinner, do not use hardner, use extra thinner. My 116 came painted by Sam. :jumpin:

The Deuce as my backup generator

Oldman's Rigmaster does indeed fit the original poster's question of powering the home from the deuce. I just got a house way out in the country, this looks like a great idea for my A3. One question, where would you mount such a unit? In the bed? Thanks Oldman. If I get farther into this...

    What is this?

60 amps at 24 volt is not too shabby, I think. Is it not about double the power of 60 at 12 volts?

How should I heat the Deuce???

Or pull your fuel fired heater and send it to me! I will send you a crappy coolant heater in return. :grd:

    M35a3 wobble

Hmmm, mine is one town away right now. I gotta check this out! I would think instead of lugs maybe one can just get off the shelf bolts at Fastenal. Those are big ones, 1 1/2 socket IIRC.

    Best Diesel Generator

I love Oldman's idea, 'cept for one little issue. Truck cost $2,000 and rigmaster costs about $9,000. 6KW ain't too shabby though. If one were making a true bug out vehicle or going off grid, it is perfect.

    M35a3 wobble

Mine too, that is why I thought it was some sort of policy.

    M35a3 wobble

If the going gets tough, ya got 3 wheels helping you go toward the problem and 3 wheels helping you reverse that decision. :jumpin: :driver:

    M35a3 wobble

Yes, my understanding is direction is not an issue. Mine are all the same way so one side looks "forward" and the other side "back"

heated leather seats and carpet intalled video

You have been busy! Deuce seats were designed for the comfort of draftee soldiers way back when. rofl Good job.

    M35a3 wobble

Add mine to the wobble list. Tires seem OK, weights are in place.

    m35a2 winch problems

Are you sure the "in out" engaging lever is fully engaged? All the way over? Mine takes some effort to get in gear.

    You have a responsibility

Just in time! I was thinking of selling my M35A2 to Iran. Thanks. Amazing what people will try to pull. Look at the wikileaks mess. Good read.
