At this point, the following needs to happen:
A. It appears that some sort of understanding exists or existed between TACOM & EPA that is at the heart of the matter. We need a to wait a few days and see what the "final" decision is. You can be assured that people like TNJ and Memphis and...
I don't, I am a deuce guy (but I don't even have those memorized).
The parts manual (-P) will have them, or you can find them on all the big guy's websites:

In short, either the inner, outer or keyway seal is bad.
You will need to remove the wheel and drum/hub assy. and inspect.
It isn't hard, but everything you're dealing with is crazy heavy.
If you've never serviced the hubs since getting the truck, you should do all 6. Being on the side of...
Sorry, we made it home last night really late. I just plain forgot to update this.
Drove it home 500+ miles on 3 wheels. Today I have a billion things to do, I have to unload the uHaul and drop it off, get to work on a Land Rover for a customer, replace the blown up axle on the trailer, return...
I really tried to get 2 of everything, but I simply ran out of time to get everything. As is, I ended up with 274 pictures.
Yes, here is all of my pics, in a slideshow: http://s9.photobucket.com/user/clinto1/slideshow/2014%20MVPA%20National%20Convention?sort=3
Also, a little video...
When I get home, I will post all my pics in a slideshow. I took a lot but I was unable to get everything.
Tomorrow evening or maybe Tuesday morning I'll post them here.
I wish I could express how good a show this was.
It was very large, well organized, good swap meet, tons of friends and great, great displays.
How about the doggie MASH unit setup, with service dogs (:)) on stretchers?
How about the WWII Weasel on a Iwo Jima display, along with underwater...
OK, we have made it back to our room in Louisville with the 3wheel trailer and our newest addition to the family, ginormous Uhaul van.
Trailer bearings did fine on the way back, plenty cool.
We just took a shower and are going to have some spaghetti and crash. We'll get up early tomorrow to...
Yes, thank you.
We're unhitched from the trailer and it has 2 locks in it. Hopefully it will still be here when we get back.
Any assistance in the bucket brigade will be greatly appreciated and will be rewarded with volunteer positions and Heineken at the ssgr.
The trailer is totally deadlined unless it's empty and I can drive it home empty on one axle.
I can't stash it because it would be empty when I returned.
The outer bearing is gone and I can't inspect the spindle for usability due to the nut being welded on to the shaft. Even with a hammer and chisel I couldn't get it to budge.
Right now we're considering our options.
Unfortunately, the only thing that seems safe (least "gamble" ) is renting a...
I don't really know yet. I don't really have the tools with me to either pull the hub or swap the axle.
At a minimum, I'd say the spindle and hub, possibly drum. Obviously bearings, races and seals.
I do not know if the spindle is separate on this unit or if I'll have to swap the entire axle.
So we've made it to a motel at exit 44 on I 71 south. We're getting a room for the evening as we don't have a spare axle so there's nothing we can do this evening. Docfarmall apparently has a local friend who is going to try and help us tomorrow morning.
Will update in the morning
