Not yet...well kinda. I started a thread but have so many alterations to the truck that the top is not the first priority yet, so the thread is in progress. I'm gathering materials right now and have to set an appointment at the tarp shop for the main seam(s) to be sewn, making about 9x9 to be...
I took the headlights off the M35A3 and started to convert (make) a wider housing that has the turn lights on the outside of the headlights AND to limit the amount of debris that can get behind them with a walk plate (diamond plate) that is substantially reinforced and attaches at the fender...
Now I have to work on making a legible print. I guess I had located these in the TM some time back...memory lapse. Had problem with size then also. Here is a link to the other thread where you posted them. Thanks

Please explain the operation of the pressure switch on the tranny to me. Does it switch NO to closed (or NC to open) on having hydraulic pressure and is that pressure generated going forward or reverse, in either direction? Does this switch lock out the starter solenoid or is there a...
His marker lights would have to be on for it to have power, where the safety system needs to work at any time it's reversing.
There would probably be no safety inspection, like OSHA or insurance, until something happens. I'm not sure... a switch to manually turn it off may not be kosher.
Dele16, Have you thought about making a soft top over a frame? I don't have a HMMWV but on my deuce and 5 ton I'm making new soft top from several layers of canvas and on the outside, ballistic nylon. Sandwiched in between the inner layers of canvas, I'm using foam sleeping mats.
The BN is...
If the switch on the tranny is powered on reverse, you have the source and don't need a second switch, unless you are talking about a power relay, switched by the tranny pressure switch that would take the load that a buzzer and lights could put on the circuit.
You may also want an on-off for...
You could put a couple extra nuts on the bolts (that bolt the rims together) to add small amount of weight on the opposite side. A static balance would tell you where you are to begin with.
One way to static balance is on the truck. I decide which axle set I will repack and put new seals on...
I've went front to back and back to front of this thread and a couple of other threads looking for the brake schematic of the M35A3....with no luck. I found several links that no longer work and come up with multiple threads when searching...still can't locate one. It sure would be easier if...
One can use either the front springs from a deuce that set under the frame or the springs from an M105 that set outside of the frame and have a little more width stability, both seem acceptable. If it's using larger tires, check to see if the front caster has been changed (many threads on the...
I'll be happy to sent you some of our cold weather to really test your endurance. We'll just slice off another piece of that polar vortex for ya and send it your way.
The clutch material can absorb water when using oil, the mechanic that rebuilt mine said, although he didn't say how the water could find the oil to begin with. Apparently it does when vehicles set a lot. I think the bigger problem is old seals on the clutch pistons, especially that 4th and...
What do you mean "brand new"....as in freshly rebuilt?
I put a PTO (less pump) for the AT 1545 tranny in the classifieds if anyone wants more hydraulics than pulling off the back of the air compressor.
I would like that also... I would like to see this post include a printable wiring diagram and schematic, air system schematic and brakes. I've been reading thread after thread looking for working links to schematics until it begins blending together, coming up short. Download to the post, no...
Pictures were before it was completed. I added a frame member to that joint, 1/2" by 3" x 24" CR flat on the underside (on edge), tying the A to the outer tube frame that mounts the axles... so is more than only the butt joint.
I had added that part and a couple of cross members tacked in and...
