    I would get the original starter rebuilt. I bought one of the cheap gear reduction starters and it died in about 8 months.

    It's ok to tow it home at an angle, the military 12 pin connector will have to be adapted to your trucks 7 pin, or use magnetic tow lights. The cheap tractor supply light kits also will bolt on to the stock taillight brackets.

    Its a half ton blazer (6 lugs wheels) with an extra leaf in the front springs. The military calls it a 3/4 ton though.

    1st is for the pto shifter lock-out plate. 3rd is for a convoy light post or gunring leg.
