I am planning on getting it with my m920. I pulled the fifth wheel spacer and ramps off my m920 and put on 16.00R20 tires on it. Does anybody know if my truck will have enough height and clearance set up...
I dont think you could touch a truck with those features and that low miles for that kind of money. Its really hard to compare because there arent many civilian trucks with miles like that...
Wreckerman, those 915a4 trucks had cummins and 4 speed trans plus air ride and air conditioning. 2320 - Trucks & Truck Tractors, Wheeled at Government Liquidation I think they were a good deal but too rich for my needs.
M915 has the cat air shift 16 speed semi auto trans and big cam 1 cummins. M915a1 has big cam 3 and allison 5 speed auto. The engines are rated 400hp each. The air shift cat trans is very prone to problems and a somewhat difficult to drive(constant shifting by you while driving) The allison...
If you read thru some of my old posts you will find extensive information on using these trucks and others for farming. I bought two m915a1 trucks last year for around 2200 each with around 30k miles. Make sure you get a m915a1 and not a m915.
I broke the yoke on the back of the first axle(between rear axles) on my m915a1. It is the yoke attached to the back of the carrier, not the driveshaft side . I cant find a part number on any of my trucks, How do I find what I need?

That other one would be slick eliminating that intermediate steer axle would make backing a little easier...tankers for water to agri sprayer and fuel storage deliv to irrigation motors
I built a hitch using the pintel from the 818...the tankers have very heavy brackets(for lifting)welded to the frame that I used and safety chained to the tiedowns on the bottom of the frame..it pulled awesome forget backing up though...condenser for AC on front pics tomorrow
