I need some advice on what kind of tow rope to get for getting trucks unstuck. I will be using it with my m919 which is 65000 lbs when full and might be pulling out 85-90 thousand lbs of m818+trailer. I dont know anything about ropes like this so would appreciate any and all advice. ...
The m915a1 uses an Allison transmission HT754CRD with a TC498 Torque Convertor. I dont have a pto on my a1 so I dont know what it takes.
My m915 and m919 have a Cat D7155-OD trans. It uses a Chelsea 420XQAHX-W6XD PTO
I bid 4520 on two of them and they went for the next bid. Those were great buys. I should have bid a little more. Some of them were missing the lathe...
I think we had around 18 inches but the wind was blowing up to 50mph through it all so lots of drifting. Im hauling beans right today and tomorrow with the m818. Apparently I was the first truck in to the elevator since the storm and they didnt have the roads fully cleared, I enjoyed busting...
when it gets down to under 20 degrees I use ether. I used my m818s all during harvest and am hauling soybeans to town right now. I shoot a good long squirt into the intake screen and then stand on the running board window down and run the starter with one hand and spray ether as needed to keep...
more pics they finally busted the roads with a snowplow. Ive never seen so much snow. Dad says worst since 1949 when he could step over the telephone wires on the big drifts. Lots of drifts up to the roofs of houses.
Wait a minute, does that come with genuine baling wire? My grandpa had a million miles of about 10ft strips bailing wire that are so useful. That little arctic grill is being held on with one strip.
m919 buried after I tried to bust through. Those tires are 52 inches
tall. It was full of corn and around 65K lbs. The 13k deuce and a half
couldnt even budge it. Ethan and I dug it out yesterday. Today I feel
like I had the first day of "two a days
Well after getting me through harvest and a lot of mud and snow I got the m919 stuck yesterday. Weve had a bad blizzard and the roads have been blocked since the 24th. A friend needed to get to town so I shoveled the doors open on our machinery shed and got the m919 out. It was full of corn...
Well harvest has been long this year. We are often done in the first week of november but its looking like weve got a couple days left and might be done before Christmas. The 6x6 has been an essential part of our operation this fall. Getting in and out of the field in mud or snow and pulling...
You need to put a boost gauge in. My 915a1 amazes me with acceleration. I put 11.00rx24 tires off of my M919 on so I could go 70mph and that hurts the low end a little. The only problem Ive had was when parked in a field full of corn (90000lbs) the tires sink in a little and I have to floor...
Its been wet here but finally dried up enough to get the non 6x6 trucks in the field. The neighbors were having to drive the combine or grain cart out onto the road to unload, I was just driving the m818 and m919 right into the field. I had the m919 on the really muddy side of the field and...
