Well if it's a matter of not using the system because I can't find that cable I'll just have to chance not using the suppressor.
I've sent an email to Steve Haney to see if he has anything or can modify a CX-10071/U cable for me.
From the pictures of other folks units it appears that mine is...
The power cord from the MT1029 to the battery is the CX4720 but has the opposite male/female fitting of the MX-7777. Does anyone have the correct cable#? I just got my 7777 today and would like to start putting things together.
Any close up pictures of the actual final installation? I don't...
I guess that picture was from a prior MKT they were using but if ANYONE else needs one PM thtrev2001. I know he has some more grease catchers, a couple of griddles, and lots of canvas/nylon/vinyl parts.
Us MKT guys have to stick together. Everybody loves you while you're dishing out the food...
You didn't make him help you set it up the first time?
Check the oven to make sure there aren't any maggot infested pots like the one I got from GL. Not that Stan would do something like that...
Can't believe that travel cover made it all the way from Austin to Keller without shredding.
I have one of the Greek wiring harnesses (like others haven't gotten to the "putting it in" stage yet). The main difference between the original and Greek harness is that the Greek one is color coded vs having the little aluminum numbered tags. Everything else (as far as connectors) is the same...
Jackson Hole is a beautiful place (and I especially love Bubba's BBQ) but it is definitely Californicated. As far as ID I prefer the Moscow area myself, especially in the summer when all the students are gone.
No fair changing your location after the initial post.
Let me know if you'd like some home cookin' vs Army chow. Although with San Antonio there's way too many good places to eat to just eat at home.
Drop me a line when you get to town (I'm about 20 miles north). I'd offer to help out but a 900 mile round trip in my deuce is something I'd rather not do.
It's about 1000 miles from Texarcana to Appleton. It's 452 miles from Texarcana to San Antonio. You're adding almost 50% more to the trip by moving it to SA. I'd think it'd be more beneficial to move it northward instead.
Not to steal the thread but since this has good info why not keep it going?
For all of you VIC-1 and Commo guys:
I'm setting up a VIC-1 in my deuce and want to add a speaker in the back so I can give instructions during parades or other events. I have a LS671/VRC Loudspeaker Control Unit...
I'm just starting to put a set together and am curious on the Crew Control Boxes. Everything I've located indicates they are C-2296 thru C-2298 (depending on whether it's an outside box, Commander, or Crew Member). The only box I have so far is marked C-10456. Is this for a different set up or...
Not sure how MI is but if you get caught driving with something red in your tank in TX you'll get a hefty fine since they'll assume it's dyed diesel. I doubt telling them it's ATF will matter even if you could prove it.
I could be wrong (it's been known to happen once or twice) but I believe all you need for the duels is a set of budd nuts and mount them like deuce wheels. They were used for soft ground conditions (sand, snow, etc).
Most states have a Film Commission. You can contact them with your information and if someone calls asking about MVs you're on the list.
I'm on speed dial from a guy out in CA that works as a vehicle wrangler. I get a call about once a month from him looking for particular types or designs...
I'm going to go out on a limb here (please be gentle if I'm too stupid) and guess it goes:
120V 1 PH. = 52 amps
120/240V 1 PH. = 26 amps
120/208V 3PH. = 17.3 amps?
I was talking to a guy today about military generators, single phase/3 phase, 120/240, etc, etc when he asked how many amps the 5k put out. Being ignorant of basic electrical principles I just gave him a vacant stare.
All I need to know is where to check the fluids, start it, and plug the...
