    deuce frame reinforcement

I am thinking of using 1"x3"x14' DOM as a spacer under the boom & bed (and under the rear 2' of the cab) with the thought that it will reinforce the frame. this will replace the wood strips found under the cargo bed. Any thoughts or observations?

Unfortunately if i put the crane base as far forward as possible I am still 11" short with the bed stock length (horns already removed). How much frame space does your's take up? mine is 32 3/4" can you take some pics of how yours is mounted to the frame? I am thinking of making spacers that...

    powered trailer

I imagine what you saw were back sections of the MK48 (articulated 8x8 ). Most of the ones I have seen were the mk17 drop side or mk 18 bridge carriers. I would think you could move one with a 5 ton, but it definately wasn't made for that. "The LVS has an off road payload of 12.5 tons and an on...

    deuce w/ hiab 950 knuckleboom

after close inspection, two of the data plates are legible with concerted effort. One says "Do not stand under load" the other is the load chart, it reads "Safe Working Load" 5000kg/11000lb @ 1.9m/6.3ft 3750kg/8250lb @ 2.4m/7.9ft 2650kg/5850lb @ 3.5m/11.5ft 1800kg/3900lb @ 5m/ 16.4ft...

    Homebrew Deuce Headache Rack

the crane was actually mounted to a short section of truck frame welded to a universal skidsteer mount. When I got there they were very close to crushing the skidsteer with the crane (one side of the mount had come free from the skidteer mount) I have 8 rods/with nuts I will need to make the...

Preferred Engine RPM for operating aux hydraulics

What RPM would you want to run your deuce at for powering hydraulics? I don’t have my hydraulic pump yet so I want to pick one that hits the specs I need at the speed that is best for my “D” multifuel. Keep in mind I can use the transmission to change the speed of the t-case pto relative to...
