Super nice job. I was taking about doing the same thing the other day..Nice pls truck in the backround ....And i always love a m819.Truly awsome collection
The plates on the top ,back and the threaded rod on the bottom are there to keep the winch ends properly spaced.the main purpose is to keep ther from spreading on a side pull that would force the frame rails apart.2.5ton trucks don't have tensioners like five tons do.some five tons even have...
Looks right to me ..Folds toward the back and ties off to the second hook.some of them came with vents some without,,Some used rope some rubber cord. depends on who and when they were made. ...
i have been searching for the same info.My truck has the four color merc paint job on it..I am wanting to repaint it back how it is now..But cant seem to find the paint number-color for the brown..I know the green is 383 green black is black and tan is standard dessert tan. But the brown is much...
Also the bolts that hold the bellhousing to the trans can leak if they are loose. Also if the guide pins are missing it can cause it to leak past the input shaft as it will force the input shaft to one side or the other..this can also make the trans hard to shift and possibly be noisy to. That...
I rebuild transmissions ..If you plan on doing that on yourself you're gonna need a press and other specialty tools.Anyone can rebuild a trans but knowing what are the problems areas and what to do to fix the problems not just change the bad parts is the secret...Anytime you build a 42re you...
Ok if you gonna be running with a heavy load don't do it. Singled 9.00s don't handle much weight especially for a long road trip. You will have blow outs..I ran mine on just the inners to see what kind of a difference running singles vs. duals as far as accelleration and braking ..huge...
This is awsome ... I have been telling my boss i am gonna go to the track and put him on the trailer.he has a 9 sec buick. Guess i need to get my reaction time down..and.....
i want to take mine to see what it would run .i would like to know who has the fastest multi powered deuce? i am...
ya thats the same turbo i have on my truck..it is the best one they put on a ldt. mine makes around 27psi of boost...of course i have my fuel turned up a little..but many people report boost of 20 plus with this set up..
It would allow you to drop your box at the campsite and i you put some plate steel inside the angles you could have a closed deck or even make some tool boxes in that area that go between the cross members of the frame they could be like 12 inches deep and still clear everything
From the pics it looks as if only one leg has a bend in it... which would make me think it was involved in an accident .2 inch holes are a heavy tow bar ..i would think it was for a light armored vehicle like a m114.
i always wanted to pull my bed back off and get two peices of 6 inch 3/8 thick angle iron Then hook the angle to my dump hinges and attach the scissors set up to them and run a couple braces at the front ,middle and back .I would put the angle so the l is toward the inside .and put a winch at...
Cranetruck-has one i think they consider them a m756 when the sides are on them they dont look to different from a m35. They do have a headache rack that could be cut down to clear your over head storage.i'm not sure what the weight but that would be the easiest way to self load a m109 box on...
Why not just get a pipe line truck they have a flat bed and a roller- winch setup for loading things like a m109 box on the bed easily.plus i think the bed is thinner than a m35 bed.
This is one of the funniest threads i've seen.Next thread in the deuce mod section will be how to turn a deuce into a 6x6 or how do i turn my ldt465 1c into a multifuel?:driver:
