i knew that pic would be on here soon..There was a tank with 24 inch wheels in place of the tracks and road wheels on you tube awhile back. it was driving around on the street it had hydraulics and when it bounced the street looked like it was gonna give out.It made me throw up in my mouth the...
next quesion in the deuce forum ........how do i get my computer and deuce to go faster? answer take the computer with you when towing the deuce behind a kenworth....
deuces dont look right shiny.i think painting them shiny and putting chrome on them is against the law just like selling them to non citizens. .... be carefull them mine make you give it back if you do that:confused:
i dont have to worry about which hole i should be in . mine is always the same size .....i like the saying it,s not what you buy but what you build thats important .another one of my favorites is....Mud boggers go in deeper and come out harder.
just awsome..good job..make sure you pull the axles-front flanges to make sure theres not water in the wheel bearing ..It's cheaper the check and grease em than to have to change 12 @38 bucks each.. i cant wait to see the vid
wreckerman dont be a hater some of us like hummers .i think they make great wheel chocks for a deuce.......just kidding i dont want the hummer crew waiting for me outside my house...I am waiting for someone to bring a hummer to haspin to see how they compare off road.. they have some nice...
i'm curious to see.i need to change my front sometime soon.i'm not looking forward to pulling the whole axle out to do it:confused:maybe i'm trying to convince myself it is real light .So if i think it will be easy maybe i will be able to talk myself into jumping on it.....
i would pull the valve core out put the lug nut on it and weld it . let it cool till its not red hot and take it right off .the heat from welding makes it come right off.a pipe wrench will distort the budd nut and make it bind up even more also you will ruin the threads you have left and wont be...
They make a block sealer epoxy .It is kind of like a wax crayon .You drain the coolant heat the block up with a torch .Then rub the sealer over the crack it flows into the crack like solder on copper pipe.It is a premanate fix .I have an engine builder friend of mine that can get it for you
this is to funny guess gimp has a new name for his truck now?:driver:i am a big multifuel lover to .i want to put one in my dodge but i think it will kill the front axle since it's just a 1500. but at least i would be getting better mpg than i do now:smile: Kind of crazy i get 12-14 with the...
i'm just thinkin some poles lights.a couple fridges.a compressor a welder.maybe a couple bug zappers.i am looking to the future a little to far ahead.we could have some ac units going maybe some fans ? we would be able to run our lap tops and download pics of the fun we having?
rwbrown what wheels do you have ?I have 15.5s on mine and have flexed it everyway but on its roof and i have never had the tires hit the exhaust.Mine will hit the drag link at full cut to the right and they hit the inner fenders when flexed and turning .i can only imagine what all 53s would hit...
very similar to a turbine engine yes. there are three sets of fins one is attached to the pump.the other the stator the other is the turbine.i have a cut open torque converter at work i will take some pics on tuesday and post them so you get an idea of whats happening in there
i think more things should be multifuel powered. they seem to be very usefull. not sure a truck like the deuce was the best candidate.i think a half ton-one ton truck would have been great with a multifuel engine.didnt they make gensets with a cummins 6bt on them how hard would it be to stick...
just think there is no dirrect mechanical link inside of a torque converter....there are fins that fuild is thrown across. the faster the fuild is thrown the more power is put to the input shaft.it is done with hydrualic fluid not a mechanical link like a clutch
think of a torque converter as a hydrualic pump not as a gear.it works much inthe same way that allows a small gas engine to split a log on a log spliter.not thru gears but thru the use of hydrualic fluid.hydrualic fluid varies the rate that the engine is coupled to the cylinder. much in the way...
nhdeisel that makes it a 3300rpm motor with peak hp at 2700 the multi is a 2600rpm motor with peak hp around 2100. ..As for wheels being gears they are in every sense of the word the larger the wheel the less gear ratio. torque conveters act totally different. They act more like a clutch that is...
