Haspin 2009: SS 10th Anniversary Rally June 10-14

I rolled in around midnight. Smooth ride for me as well. Also my first time to Haspin, definitly going to go again. Mike, Cabell, it was a pleasure to convoy with you as always. [thumbzup] I had a blast and it was good to see old friends and make new ones.

    New horn LOUD

Tried to take video, the horn is so loud it distorts the mic! I'll walk 100yrds away and try again at a later date. Leaving for Haspin in a couple of hours.

    New horn LOUD

Installed a new air horn in my 109. The original electrical horn sounded crappy, so it had to replace it. Found two of these horns laying around in my old school bus ( I am most definitly a 'I'll use it one day' type collector.) Sounds great, I had to run an air line off the govenor...

    Weight restrictions crushing Dreams?

Do it like I did when I got out of the Navy... I had my whole 3 bedroom house in that thing, plus half the garage in the M35. 39,874lbs total. I checked with some of the guys down at the local weigh station, and as previously stated, as long as the axles weights were below legal limits, and...

    M105 trailer

A scorned bidder perhaps? It really burns me up when stuff like this happens. Someone stole Sevo's new 11x20 xl spare in Winder GA... Vandalizum is even worse than the theft though. You still have it, but now it is useless.

    WTB CX-10613G ( mx-777 power cable)

the cable I had and cut to hook to the batteries you could connect the one end in the back of the Mx-7777 and the other end would plug into and screw down on the two power outputs on the Mx-7777.

    WTB CX-10613G ( mx-777 power cable)

I'm pretty sure that's the cable, if you open up the battery box the yellow tag is on the cable still and you can get the number off it. That's why I offered, so we can talk and listen to tunes on the recovery. I'm smarter than the average bear...

    WTB CX-10613G ( mx-777 power cable)

That's what I had to do. Chris, my a-1780 box isn't working anyway, just steal my wiring off the 109 and get yours up and running. I doubt I will figure out what's wrong with mine before Haspin anyway.

picking up my new truck tomorrow

Napa numbers- Primary fuel filter, 3511 x 1 Secondary, 3512 x 2 I've recently heard that the car quest filters are better than Napa (smaller Micron rating) But the Napa filters would be better than gunked up ones, and much better than none.

    Ferro- The Alternator slayer

Yeah, I was hoping not to have to go through the trouble of unhooking everything one at a time, especially as my harness is getting VERY brittle... Hoping someone else had some experiances. Last time I had a ground, it was easy- it was that pos electronic light switch. I have the lever now...

    Ferro- The Alternator slayer

Ok, I think I have a ground/draw somewhere. Took the neg cable off the batteries, and lightly tapped it to the post at night. got a light spark, like a car with a computer. Checked the horn, and some of the wiring in the engine compartment. Anyone have an ideas? Light switch?

Haspin 2009: SS 10th Anniversary Rally June 10-14

Diesel? why does the station have to have diesel? LOL. :-D I'm bringing a tote with about 200 gal of WVO and WMO. Should burn quite a bit of it on the way there and back. I'm not going to trail ride my 109 (not planning too anyway) Maddawg, have you and Cabell figured out when and where we...
