RE: Re: RE: 6 Wheels vs. 10 WheelsthereT
I don't think anyone here is suggesting single 9.00x20. You should stay with duals if you are running 9.00x20s. Only go singles if you have 11x20s or go super singles if you have 14.5s or 15.5s.
Oh well, you could always get 2 for the front and run dual 1100 xls in the rear. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=9952&start=0
RE: O-rings
I have used O Rings, Inc in Los Angeles, CA. When I couldn't find an original supplier of o-rings, I sent them one I had and they evaluated it and copied it for me. The original was red and a special compound. To save money, I had them use the standard material (black). They...
RE: Combat Wheels
Joe- The wheels shown in the links don't match what is shown above. The centers on the rims posted by Sermis are totally flat, not pressed in any way. That doesn't mean they will not work on a 5 ton, just they look a little different than the normal 10 and 20 bolt rims I...
Re: RE: Comparison Pic of 11.00 XLs and 9.00 NDT
Unfortunately, those XLs are no longer mine. I have sold them to another SS member to pay some bills. They are a great setup and came that way from GL.
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Watermark - Decision
FWIW, the design of the dieselplace watermark should show up well on all background colors. Is that hard to do?
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Watermark - Decision
Hey, I like the diesel place watermark better! With the background shading and centered on the image, it looks good.
RE: Re: RE: Watermark - Decision
Mike, it is a shame you are losing sleep over it. You do a great job keeping things running here and The Management should have the right to make the site however they wish. If you feel the watermark is the way to go, that is good enough for me. You might...
First off, let me say that I am a truly ignorant when it comes to military radios and I don't know the lingo. This M818 has a mount under the bed and a rear mast for an antenna. Are these common to you radio guys? I would like to get an antenna just to mount up for grins, but probably won't...
RE: On ebay?
Sweet looking setup! I have been planning that upgrade to my bridge truck too! It looks like you used M939A1 wheels, left the spacers in place, and dished the fronts out and rears in. Correct? What is the difference in track width in the front versus rear? How far is each from...
