Glad to see you are rethinking this. The 12.5 tire is not a good choice for a M816. There are plenty of other (better) options.

Nice score on the deuces. Got a pic of the two deuces in tow? Who does the HEMTT belong too?

An M816 should weigh in at closer to 35,000 not inlcuding the plow you will add. An M816 is a wrecker. Is your truck something else?

1200s are a beefy tire. I don't think 12.50s carry the same weight rating.

RE: Re: tires on m816 - 5ton. You can run them as duals or I would seriously consider another wheel/tire combo if you want to run singles. An M816 is a very heavy truck, before adding the additional weight of a plow.

The standard size tire is 11.00x20, duals. As for the ones you bought, they will fit on the rim, but will look silly on a M816. After all, they are shorter than a standard 11.00R20 (same diameter as 9.00R20). Maybe you should have considered the 15.5s sold at Carson on GL. I know who bought...
