hmm not sure youll need a waste gate .what rpm are you planning on running it up to. i have mine turned up pretty far and am running about 27 psi on my ldt-1d :-Di would bet that if you put the same turbo i have on a lds that is running higher rpm lets say 2900 you will be in the area of 30-...
you could space the space mount out about an inch then you wouldnt have to rotate the spare in the mount like that:roll:i would mess with it more if i have to when the weather gets a little nicer out.
it can and has been done but i havent seen any electric winches with the same line pull rating as the stock deuce winch and you need snatch blocks even with the stock winch.the deuce winch has a 10000lbs line pull and a 10000lb electric winch will have a line pull rating around 4000-5000 thats...
its close but as long as it doesnt hit close doesnt matter:-D now i dodnt have to break my back putting the spare in the bed or waiting for the tire guy to get there to fix me up
the tire goes straight up and down no rubbing the only thing that makes it closer is when the rears grow at higher speeds it didnt get any closer by flexing it out:roll:
all deuces were made to be able to do 56 from the factory .gas motors had dirrect drive for high gear and deisels had od to compesate for the lack of rpm . there is no way to say how many turns is safe to go since every engine is set different as a starting point .best to use a turbo gage and...
well i finally got around to putting my spare under there.it took a little to do it but nothing major.i had to let the air out of it . then i had to cut the lip off the tool box bracket and beat the rear of the tool box in about a half inch.and i had to twist it towards the outside then lock it...
well .just like with anything driver is durabilty. you put a 30yr vet truck driver in a race car and he wont brake it .but you put a 16yr old kid in a semi and he will kill the clutch in less than 10000miles when the trucker will make it last a million miles:roll:
200hp is an estimate from the difference in boost vs stock boost at the same rpm .i have a coworker that is an engine builder and we were doing the math together from what he sees on other turbo engines on the dyno .i have no pyro on my truck sorry
on my truck it actually made it faster i wasnt getting enough fuel to get it up to gov speed .it would only rev to 2400-2450 before now it will hit 2600 no problem. but you are correct i meant quicker not faster there is a difference .i gained a couple mph with the extra rpm. like i said every...
i believe mine is around 200hp i have it turned up i'm running around 27psi boost at 2600 it gets around 15 at 1500 .its way faster than stock i have been running it like that for over 5yrs no problems i dont hold on the gov under load other than that i drive it like i stole it...
i bent the track in a little to pull the windows in at the top it worked pretty good. but i think the problem is that the window tracks- felt is worn out and should be changed.windshield i put new whether stipping on and still get a little leak at the bottom center corners but i havent tried to...
agreed not the best use of time but at least when they are unhappy with how it works there will be another truck getting parted out so we can pick it apart like volvcures
i would go with the block heater it keeps the block warm making it easier for combustion to happen.and also helps the engine turn over faster to.i have a block heater on my tractor and without it i have to crank it for a good while .when using the block heater it starts before making one full...
you can get all those parts you are looking for from saturn surplus . i got my dropside locks with chains and my dash light covers from them :-Dfast shipping great prices and great people to deal with
6 inches is plenty 4 would probably be fine for parking if you want to be able to put a lift in later i would do 6 and do mesh and rebar. plus the area just at the outsides of your tires i would do 8 inchs .but remember all concrete will crank at some point .thats why you use rebar to keep it...
