For the Wellmen plugs They dont swell, they are self-regulating. When they do burn out, you just pull them out and put new ones in (always replace as a set of course)
Why does your m715 have glow plugs?
going to a twin circuit system adds a ton of lines under the truck.
I would probably go to a full hydraulic system before messing with a dual circuit air/hyd.
mangus may jump in and correct me on this (its been a long time since i had the controller hooked up), but iirc the plugs are cycled on a few times after startup. this has nothing to do with the engine running, its solely for the purpose of reducing the white smoke when starting cold.
Ida I have a good condition one, complete with brake linings and a wheel cylinder, you can have it. I wil be at the clare show on sunday, if your not there we can meet somewhere.
Its not that bad to get to, you can just pull the intake off the engine and have easy access. That rubber has been there for 20+years, so replacing it will last at least that long.
No, dont just put them on the back, looks horrible and you wont be able to use 4x4 if you needed to.
The spacers are needed on the front to clear the tie-rod castings on the knuckles, you can put them in the back but its not needed.
