    2013 Haspin Discussion Thread

Thanks for the tip... I'm practically swimming in boxes at the moment from a recent move. I still hate the wiggle though.

    2013 Haspin Discussion Thread

Not really tall, and not small enough to basically cling to the undercarriage and run around like spiderman... Just really tired of wiggling around on the ground like some sort of seizure victim. I'd rather just roll around if I can. Plus I usually forget some tool or am a socket size off from...

I need to get a grease gun and figure out how to use it properly... I also need a creeper to slide around on under the truck.

Shoot, i forgot about the differentials and transfer case too... Gotta do that as well, and its looking like I may need some new tires, I'm finding dry rot on the sidewalls. Also we lost another guy off my shift... so I may not be making it anymore... But my supervisor and I are going to try to...

CUCV electrical gremlins... plenty of those to hunt down, repair/replace coolant tanks. Looks like I need some new hoses, replace oil pan gasket, maybe a rear main seal as well.... ugh. As well as grease everything I can. Lot to do.

Dont rush it too much, I still have a lot of work to do on the truck.

    2013 Haspin Discussion Thread

Don't tempt me... I've been known to wire stuff because I get bored... I was actually thinking about putting full CUCV black out lights on my ATV for this... So if there's down time it might happen.... I just wonder if I can cram a speaker and siren system in there... Because if you're going to...

    2013 Haspin Discussion Thread

I have plenty of those... But... its a grey area on sticking them on anything a department doesn't own or lease. Definitely a big no no for anything on-road and all I'd need is someone to see it send a pic around the internet and someone put my face to a screen name...

Tempting... I have some left over strobes. Just definitely can't use them on the street  maybe I'll just get some amber and white ones to keep it legal.

Sparky, I think you may be onto something I should probably get that big flag looking thing for the ATV I know yall have plenty of blind spots.... how tall is the hood on a 5 ton again with 53" tires again? Matt, I'd love one of those or an Arctic Cat Prowler... just can't quite justify the...

    M1008 restoration and repair thread.

Thats what I was figuring, Thanks Abbylind. Well I replaced the 10amp fuse in the 28v slot, it was blown and I got the fuse tester out to verify because it was pretty hard to tell. Gen 2 light still doesn't pop on. I'll try to see if the bulb is good to go sometime soon and then get into...

My advice to the ATV people though, is dont ever be in Gimpy's shadow on the trails.

From what im told its handy to have a little atv of some sort to go from camp to the bathrooms... But Im hoping this will be my first rally.

The fuse looks a little funny... so i figure ill sawap it out and see if that helps. Not sure how the light bulb in the voltmeter goes back together, the black wire is is there, not sure where this odd grey one goes.... it wasnt attached to anything when i pulled the voltmeter out. Or it became...

I don't make enough money to play like that... or to fix what I break... So we shall see how that goes.

    M1008 restoration and repair thread.

Headlights and service lights work, but the high beam doesn't. It has the LMC headlight kit installed. I should've been more specific, Gen 2 doesn't appear to be working as the light doesn't come on. Voltmeter doesnt work either and I'm definitely scratching my head on a starting point... Looks...
