you could get a greater departure angle in the back if you left it 6x6 since there is nothing that hangs past the axle .but with running it as a 4x4 you would have leaf springs that might hang out past the tires and thus making you leave the frame longer :?:plus the wheel well on the m105 is...
i would get a inferred thermometer to see what the temp of the in and out is at the heater core .if the heater core is plugged only the in line will be hot if both are the same as engine temp i would look into making sure you dont have any broken vacume lines and that the actuator for the bypass...
ya i think there is gonna be alot of work in making the braces strong enough to hold the weight of a fully functional turret but its just a top if you dont like it just switch it out for a stock one
it is 1/2 plate for the back plate sides are frame rails from a ford f6 the reciever tube and cross tube are 2 1/2 inch 1/4 wall tubing there are 14 grade 8 1/2 inch bolts holding it on 5 down each frame rail and four across the back frame brace
i think a classifieds button would be very usefull.when i think of resources i think of tms and linked sites.:roll:for the longest time i didnt know there was a classified section on here
bigger tires is probably the cheapest ans easiest way to get the results you are looking for .i'm not sure how good a deuce will pull od multiplied by a gear spliter especially in a head wind or hills:?:
every thing i seen showing the ratios for the 3053 and 3052 had first second and third as the same ratios and forth they just switched overdrive in place of forth thus giving you a u shift pattern instead of a standard h pattern .
ya those are definately the more sought after of the cckws .i would love to get one but the price of ww2 stuff is out of my range .reinactors go crazy for them up here by me seems to me they are paying double what they are worth just for era correct trucks even civy truck
theres a thousand things you can do but there comes a point where its not feasible to do all that .if they want it that bad they will just bring a wrecker and take it .i know guys that had alarms on their cars and had alarms on their garages they were really let down when they went out in the...
ya i think thats why i never did it .one of my buddies had a magnito on his truck.it had 18inch lift 44s he was dropping the mag in it turned gave him a zap knock him clean off the truck after i stopped laughing i helped him up .long funny way to fall:roll:well funny for me not so much for...
i would definately go to a 3052 trans with 53s .with 9.00s its not much of a problem but when you're running bigger tires it gets harder to power past the drop in rpm especially loaded.besides once you go to a 15.5 or bigger tire do you really need to go 70 or more since the brakes have a hard...
you will loose top speed which would be a problem with 9.00s but i dont think i would mind with the 15.5s as i would still have a top speed of around 60
