Actually, Advance can look up the same walker muffler part number. Seems to be VERY universal. The Air intake is just an exhaust elbow with a split in one end, fits the system perfectly. Its actually an off color of OD green. Today, I shot it with a touch of 383 green. Now I really want to...
In speaking with Mark Elrod about this, he stressed that the muffler needed to be braced to prevent it swaying around, otherwise I'd get a cracked turbo or manifold. I had been initially thinking about bracing below the muffler, but decided to brace at the clamping point just above the fender...
The muffler comes slotted on both ends so you can slip it on over the 3.5" pipes. However, I was short a good 3.5" clamp and wanted to keep the cutting on the truck to a minimum. So I elected to weld a short portion of the cut off pipe to the top of the muffler so I could add the exhaust tip...
OK, with an impending trip, I decided to get a muffler and get it installed for the trip to ease my ears. I purchased one of the walker mufflers that everyone seems to be using. Advance Autoparts sells them as does NAPA, however out the door, I was looking at $80 for one vs $48 from Advance...
Worse is when I try to shift into 5th on my Honda Insight and go right and Down instead of Right and up. (Right and Down being reverse!)
I've done this 3 times now. :(
Wallew, they're just being conservative. 5th in the shift pattern on the gassers is straight through ratio. On the Multi-fuels it's 4th gear. The multi-fuels having a further overdrive.

My 5 Ton had some fuel delivery problems and actually had water in the fuel that was gumming up the filter. AND there were two coke bottle wrappers in the fuel pickup line. Once I got those out, the truck was quite a bit faster.
The M813s have a priming procedure that uses the cold start system to re-prime the fuel system to the highest point. Get a can or tank and catch the fuel that'll spill out of the flame heater side bleeder.
Yeah, a Bolster Trailer with a stripped down dropside bed on it would be ideal for this application. I kind of want to get one with a longer shelter on it for a good mobile MV camper. But then I can't tow the trailer with the Dingo or Ferret on it.
That's the xm1073. They come up for sale on GL everyso often in that form and in other forms. Seems like one could add a few bits of channel along the edges, a pair of hinges for wheel ramps, some ramps and such and have an excellent trailer for a jeep, heavier duty than you'd ever need. I...
Woah, that's a big trailer.
Looks like the ones they towed behind the big E-Plant trucks to carry around buckets and other parts for the big excavators that were mounted on trucks.
There's a family of platform trailers.
5 ton 4 wheel XM979
5 Ton 4 wheel xm1061 and M1061A1
and 7.5 ton 4 wheel xm1073 (some have 8 wheels and a rubber band track on either side).
They are very heavy duty and heavy, a civilian trailer might be easier but you'll put more work converting it...
Wouldn't the G177 work on the front as that's also a drive axle. Basically, the front doesn't need traction on most road trucks, but the military 4x4s and 6x6s. I've seen the G177s on a NG truck in Kennesaw, Ga. Looked good too. Oh, and I get this bounce bounce bounce thing going down the road...
