NAPA was closed by the time I headed that way. Autozone didn't have the part. Home Depot didn't have the fitting. Advance had them. And the fitting was thicker than the original units needing a 3/4" wrench rather than an 11/16".
Whats more they have drain valve fittings!

I poked around and found a walk around of an M35A3 on webshots. This is the heater. Looks like it might pull from the right side of the cab and not go through the engine compartment at all.
There's probably some risk of CO entering the cabin from leaks in the exhaust and additional leaks in the firewall and air plumbing. More so with our trucks, but as drafty as the cabs are are, I have to wonder.
If I lived up north, I'd look at it, but the standard cabin seems to work nicely. If...
As I've alluded to on past posts, I added a second Tool chest to my 5 Ton on the right side above the primary tool chest. I did this by removing the pioneer tool rack (never did find a good alternative location, though I was thinking about on the inside of the tailgate).

The FMTVs really make me think of the British Cab Over designs like the Bedford M Types. Good line of truck from what I've seen.

They put those on the M1073 and other similar deck trailers they like to tow Mine Clearing Line Charges on. 5, 7 and 10 ton trailers. Nice trailers but they don't go for cheap because of their capacity. Once Clark Truck or the like get them they want $3000+ for them.

Any need for bracing with the 1.5 ton weight of the loaded trailer? (I'm assuming they were close to capacity...). I figure this empty vehicle trailer will weigh about that.....
