    Why bypass or put a screen in? You can NEVER overfilter your fuel.

    My front driveshaft is now out of the truck pending a rebuild. Turns out the centering ball and cup of the CV joint have annihilated each other. My center yoke is in good shape, but i need the two pieces to keep the u-joints centered. Let me know if you happen to have a good front driveshaft or...

    the above diagnosis would not take into account a bad neutral safety switch.

    download the unit manual from the sticky at the top of this forum. appendix E has all the electrical schematics, figure out what wires were cut and troubleshoot from there.

    the purple wire is the solenoid wire for the starter, its 24volt. fed from the 24v fuse in the fuse panel , the schematic is in the -20 appendix E iirc.

    FYI that purple wire should have 24Volts not 12v.

    the silver box under the dash, just above the round diagnostics port. with the key on "start" you should have 24v on the purple wire. if not replace the relay (its AC40- comes up in as a blower relay) if you have 24v then you need to have the starter rebuilt.

    Alternator Part # Help

    RE: Re: RE: Alternator Part # Help Cost me $125 when i had one done last, with a warrenty as well. These alternators are same as a civilian model, with one very important exception. the Ground Lug is isolated from the Case.

    M1008 replacement parts

    for shocks I have heard great things from the bilstein shocks. go with a nitrogen charged shock for sure, much better ride.
